This menu shouldn’t load here should be show another menu ( kanak will do that ) add a menu when user logged in like there will be left side user profile dropdown , settings,change password,logout.

Try the below code the voice not matched with highlight

n this code, we introduce a boolean flag isNewTabOpened, which is initially set to false. When the extension icon is clicked, it checks the value of the flag. If it's false, a new tab is opened, and the flag is set to true. Subsequent clicks will not open new tabs since the flag will already be true.

Please give this updated code a try, and let me know if it resolves the issue of opening multiple tabs upon repeated clicks.
